One-Point Perspective

Find a hall or narrow room and draw the interior scene using one-point perspective. The important take-away for this assignment is the experience of the reality of linear perspective in a context. Begin by placing a marker (sticky note, piece of tape) directly opposite your station point at the central vanishing point. Use sighting techniques to get proportions and angles correct and depict the general features of the space including the back wall, the side walls, the floor and ceiling, windows, and any repeating elements (tiles, rafters, etc.).
